Bobbie Phillips

Brains and beauty are two words to describe Bobbie Phillips. Bobbie went from pre-law student to actress, and has now marked a very prominent place for herself in the world of television and film.

Best-known for her role as 'Julie Costello' on ABC's critically acclaimed Murder One, Bobbie is also familiar to television audiences from her series regular role of 'Barbara DeSantos', a Navy fighter pilot turned astronaut on the syndicated drama The Cape.

Bobbie has also made her mark in the Comedy world by appearing on many prime time sitcoms. Most recently Bobbie Guest Starred on ABC's Dharma & Greg as 'Anna', a travel agent which Dharma (Jenna Elfman) enlists to help give Greg (Thomas Gibson) a new fantasy. Bobbie also played 'Shawn' a recurring character on ABC's Two Guys and a Girl. A well known episode of The X-Files allowed Bobbie to add her comedic flair as 'Dr. Bambi Berenbaum' which also garnered Bobbie the Best Guest Actress awarded at the Sci-Fi Universe Awards.

But, it was on Chameleon, the highly rated Paramount/UPN franchise, Bobbie was able to combine her martial arts background with her award winning and praised acting skills. In all three telefilms, Bobbie played 'Kam' a government assassin genetically designed with strength, agility and the ability to blend in with her surroundings. Once Bobbie's martial art skills were reveled, she was asked to portray the very first female crow as 'Talon' on the supernatural drama series The Crow: Stairway to Heaven.

Bobbie's film credits are also a testament to her abilities as they are as varied as her TV roles. Her film credits include Wes Craven's Carnival of Souls, American Virgin, a comedy with Bob Hoskins, Robert Loggia, and Mena Suvari, and most recently Bobbie starred in and played dual roles in Hustle with Robert Wagner.

Although she has a flair for Drama, Comedy, and Action, Phillips talent goes far beyond her acting ability. "I just wrote my first screenplay with my husband. It's a comedy. I didn't even write a part for myself. It just worked out that way." The talented young actress also spends time writing and recording music. She performs such diverse genres as Blues, R&B, Soul, and Alternative.
