| by thirty_triller John Lone is cruelly underrated and overlooked as an actor with a wide range and amazing talents. HIs perforamnce are always top notch aswell as captivating. JOhn Lone gave the Best performance of 1987 with his role of Pu-Yi in Bernardo Bertullucci's Last Emperor He was good in Iceman and Year of the Dragon but i beleive it was the Last Emperor that really showed his talents as aan actor. Lone carried the film on his shoulders and was unofrigvingly snubbed by the Academy. His performance is superior to that of Michael Douglas of Wall Street and all the other nominees that year. John lone in my opinion is one of the most underated actors in history and is without a doubt, one of the best. Definetly 100% one fo the best of all time. Comment on this... | ||||

| by The Movie King That was the best movie, he ever played in. He was very realistic in it. I thought it was kinda sad that his mother had to leave him to continue his royal duties and that he spend most of his childhood being trapped inside the castle, since he was the emperor. I think he should have won an oscar for his role. He was so good in it. I hope he plays in more movies, because he is such a good actor. Comment on this... |
