Ben Stein
Benjamin Jeremy Stein was born on November 25th, 1944, in Washington, D.C. He is the son of Herbert Stein. Ben Stein is an attorney and a game show host, as well as an actor. Stein begain his career as a speech writer for Richard Nixon. Eventually he became a Hollywood consultant, helping the liberal writers potray a conservative family on televison. He eventually moved into acting, where he played the economics teacher in Ferris Bueller's Day Off. His acting style was considered bland and unemotional, and he was typecast into these roles, mainly as a nerd. He was given his own game show by Comedy Central, "Win Ben Stein's Money. However much they won on the show was subtracted from the $5000 Ben earned (in addition to his salery). The show won two Emmy awards, before ending its run.
