Rudolf Martin
A New York actor, Martin's early success was mainly in independent films such as High Art (Sundance 1998), Fall, When, and Punks (Sundance 2000).
In 1999, Martin began guest-starring on Showtime's Beggars and Choosers as Nicky Krasnakov, an alleged Russian mobster whose life story is being developed as a mini-series on the fictional network LGT. After the leading actor is accidentally whacked, Nicky is called upon to play himself.
Martin also stars in the Harold Ramis comedy Bedazzled (20th Century Fox). He portrays a worker on a Columbian drug lord's hacienda who becomes the nemesis of his boss (Brendan Fraser) by first stealing his wife (Frances O'Connor), and then his business.
Martin also guest-starred as Dracula in the 2000 season premiere of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
