Ian Richardson
Ian Richardson is a classically trained actor who started his career with the Birmingham Repertory Company (where he played Hamlet, among other roles) before moving on to the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1960 with whom he played most of the Shakespearean leading characters, both in Stratford-on-Avon and London, as well as touring extensively in Europe and the U.S.
In addition, he has appeared in numerous television and movie productions, including Brazil, Cry Freedom, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, The Fourth Protocol and Dark City as well as miniseries such as The House of Cards trilogy, The Magician's House, Gormenghast and Dr. Bell and Mr. Doyle. In last year's animated feature The King and I he was the voice of Kralahome. His most recent movie, From Hell is due for release next year.
