Anthony Starke

As a child, Anthony Starke was fascinated by movies and television, and he always knew that he wanted to be an actor. After appearing in high school plays, he entered Marquette University intending to become a lawyer but, on a whim, he tried out for and won a theatre scholarship. While still at school, he began auditioning and soon won his first role in the television movie, First Steps, on the CBS Television Network. Other television credits include 21 Jump Street, Beverly Hills 90210, Cheers and The Pretender. He has been a series regular on Smart Guys, The Last Frontier, the George Carlin Show and, most recently, has made appearances on both Seinfeld and Suddenly Susan.

Moving to Los Angeles in 1985 for an appearance in his first feature film, Nothing in Common, Starke made the move permanent when he was soon cast in a theater production of Buried Child at the South Coast Repertory.

His feature film credits include Eighteen Again, Return of the Killer Tomatoes, Nowhere to Run and the James Bond film License to Kill. He also co-wrote and starred in the short film Blood Chemistry.

Originally from Syracuse, N.Y., Starke resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Lolly, and their infant son, Garrett. His birth date is June 6.
