I adored GAMM - mostly because of Edward Mulhare! My mom said I had taste deciding I loved him over other teen idols of the time. There is a yahoo loop that discusses this show, compares and collects trivia, films, etc. and if anyone here is interested, Fan fiction net has a whole category of stories based on this show.

Today Edward would have been 82.

Happy birthday, Edward Mulhare!

I loved him as Capt. Daniel Gregg in the Ghost & Mrs. Muir. I was 7 when that show aired and
I hadn't seen it for 33 years, but recently I found a website which sold copies of that series. It was great watching it again. He was handsome, romantic, and very dashing - perfect for the part of a sea captain. For anyone who has not seen or ever heard of that series, please watch it: It is one of the best and romantic sitcoms of that era, and he was a fine actor. He will be missed!
