| by Mary Jameson Field Have fond memories of The Fugitive and can still remember the intense fascination with the final episode. It was the first time really that a tv series had a "conclusion" and it was the talk of the town literally. Enjoyed Harry O as well--had a crush on Anthony Zerbe actually. I now enjoy the reruns on a nostaliga channel and can appreciate the consumate skill of both Janssen and Zerbe as actors. Have to admit--David Janssen was the "total package"--looks, personality, IQ, and talent. He is and remains one of my favorite fantasy fellows. If he had lived longer and taken care of himself, I think he would have had a huge film career. He looked so genuine on the screen and you could tell he was still getting better at what he did up until the end. Some people just shine in this world and he was one of them. | by Marlene Velvick I have to admit that David Janssen was my very first love. I fell in love with him when I was 13 years old and watched him weekly on the television as the Fugutive. He is still a very special memory for me. I read everything I could find on him and kept an album filled with pics and information for many years. I am now 54 years old and my heart still misses a beat when I see his beautiful face. He was a wonderful actor and his death at such a young age was such a waste. Comment on this... |
