James Lancaster, who played the priest in Titanic who recites from Revelations to the terrified masses as the ship goes down, again plays a man of the cloth in Lost Souls. The native of Wicklow, Ireland, has also been featured in Gettysburg, Die Hard 2, The Net, Leprechaum II, and played Eugene O'Neill in Entertaining Angels: The Dorothy Day Story. In television, Lancaster has appeared in various shows such as The Naked Truth (a series regular); Chicago Hope; Jag; Buddy Faro; Murder She Wrote; and Two Small Voices, among others.
Since moving to the United States, Lancaster has been busy in television and theatre, notably South Coast Rep productions of The Caretaker and Dancing at Lughnasa and, with his father-in-law Brian Dennehy, Chicago productions of Gallileo and Rat in the Skull.
