Jake Johannsen
In 1986, he won the 11th Annual San Francisco Stand Up Comedian Competition. Johannsen's highly original and unique delivery has made him a regular at comedy clubs around the country and a regular guest on Late Night With David Letterman (with over 20 appearances) and The Tonight Show starring Jay Leno. This acclaim landed him his own one hour long HBO Comedy Special, This'll Take About an Hour, which earned him a CableACE Award nomination for Best Writing in an Entertainment Special.
He has also appeared in HBO Young Comedian Special, public television's Comedy Tonight series as well as hosting Comedy Central's Two Drink Minimum.
In 1994, Johannsen was nominated Best Male Stand-Up Comedian for the American Comedy Awards.
He made his feature film debut in Alan Rudolph's Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle starring Jennifer Jason Leigh.
