The only thing good I can really say about this man was his directing of Carmen Jones. Otherwise, I don't know much else about him. I do know that he did Dorothy Dandridge wrong. That is, by pretending he loved her and having her to believe they would be together only for him to break her heart. What did she see in him anyway? But he was excatly what she said when she first auditioned for Carmen....A bull dog, a big fat bull dog.
