| by Joe Cassara Since you were the first directer of the Alien, I have a question, did Aliens evolve naturally, or were they crteated by the Space Jockeys? Comment on this... |

| by billy bob joe bob you and bruckheimer did the movie black hawk down and i loved it. i propose that you do a movie about the iraqi war. there was something that happened in iraq just like black hawk down but it was a scout kiowa helicopter. a kiowa went down and the american forces had to pack it up on a flatbed and drive it out of the city. it would be like a sequel to the movie black hawk down. | by Dorn Dear Mr Scott, I've just read a article about how you and Russell Crowe are planning on a sequel to Gladiator however, are quite unsure of how to proceed because Maximus was killed off in the original movie. Iam quite unsure about the validity of this article but if it were to be true, then instead of making a sequel, how about considering a prequel. This prequel would delve into the life of Maximus before he became a Roman general and the journey he endured to become a good one. Thanks My comment was based on an article that is found at: http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=143274 Comment on this... |

| by harryluckhurst i'm studying for A level and one of my subjects is film studies. We have been tasked with the project of finding and writing about a particular director. I have chosen you because i admire the great things you have done, such as Gladiator and Kingdom of Heaven. I would much appreciate any help you could give me on what aspects of your directing make you an auteur. Comment on this... |

| by Bob Just a question to resolve what looks a little like a conflict. I saw where Nicole Kidman paid for a full page ad in Hollywood urging that terrorism be fought and not appeased. And you Ridley Scott signed it. But on watching the movie Kingdom of Heaven last night I saw no Islamic terrorism. They were the good guys. The Templars and the Christians were to an extent the bad guys. Yes the Orlando Bloom character, a Christian Knight, was honerable and sought resolution to conflicts. He negotiated a settlement at the final battle of the movie, and achieved it through the kind sensibilites of the muslim king. The muslims were always eager to resolve differences. This movie and the ad signed by Ridley Scott seem at odds. I want to think of muslims like they were in the movie. How does one come to seeing the muslims as honerable as the people of the west? And is slaughtering innocent women and children as the terrorists are now doing honerable? Why make muslims look good as in the movie and then advocate fighting the muslim terrorists until they are defeated? Comment on this... |
