Gary has moved back to Hattiesburg Mississippi, where he once sold bulldozers. Besides keeping up his busy acting and writing career, he also teaches acting classes in Jackson, Mississippi, Oxford, Mississippi & Memphis, Tennessee.
Gary teaches the "real world" of acting--not only teaching acting techniques and how to interpret scripts, but also how to audition and get cast. I'm always amazed at how Gary takes someone who has had no previous acting experience and in nothing flat has them performing like they've been acting for years. What I admire most about Gary is not Gary Grubbs the actor and teacher, but Gary Grubbs the man. Even though he has over 300 screen credits and is extremely successful as an actor, he treats everyone as an equal--sharing ALL. If one attends Gary's classes, not only will he be your teacher and mentor, he will be your friend and confidant.

Completely Agree!!! I met him today on the set of Deja Vu and he made the effort to come meet ME, an extra. A nobody. A very down to earth guy. Couldn't have been nicer.
