Hi,
I'm currently writing a book on Joe Petrali's 1937 Harley-Davidson Streamliner and Daytona Beach record. This specific bike was used in the early 1950's by the "Bus" Schaller Team on the Salt Flats. I'm very interested to get in touch with any family members or friends of Bus Schaller, hoping to find new historical details on this period of the Streamliner's career, until it blew its engine in late 1951.
Thanks for any assistance,

I like what Merv said on "Scarborough" show about "trash" TV--specifically about the upcoming TV story on "Reagan" who is portrayed by James Brolin.

I am sick of the dishonest manipulations of history. I think that the more accurate depictions of the past and people are appreciated by most people. There is nothing more powerful and riviting than the TRUTH.

Merv--I have a lot of stories and material that I think would make good movies. I was ll years old, and living in Santa Ana when Pearl Harbor attack happened. My stories center around my dad, who was a very gifted and colorful person.

I am presently writing about "Schaller Cams", which include motorycles, dry lakes and Bonneville straight-away record speed racing, as well as the 1963 Indy 500 with Mickey Thompson.

Would you know anyone who might be interested in talking to me?

Thank you,

Sincerely,

Jim Schaller. Phone #(541) 677-0282
