| by Halimah Yeah. Classical Savion. I'm a classical fan now. Thanks to his November 2005 appearance in Newark, New Jersey, his hometown. I'm impressed that he say the unsayable in his dance. The brother sho keep explaining it, huh? Comment on this... |

| by Rukiyah Shani It was an honor to have been present during your performance here in Tucson, Arizona on November 3. "Classical Savion" was extremely at the top of its level in tap dancing; with the high spiritual level emitting from your ever movement! The classical musicians backing you up were of extreme talent causing their instruments to sing out in spiritual melodies. Savion, you as the cornerstone of the building itself! God has blessed you in a number of ways; and may God bless you today and for days to come. Comment on this... |

| by Tap Girl I agree that Savion is one of the most amazing tap dancers I've ever seen. I had the privilege of taking a workshop from him many years back and it was a truly wonderful experience. Every time I see him perform, he is a little bit better. I appreciate all of the wonderful things that everyone is posting on this site, but didn't any of you go to school? I have never seen worse grammar than what is posted here! Check your spelling, subject-verb agreement, etc before you post. If Savion's fans are ignorant and illiterate, how does that raise him up? | by E Savion is the greatest tap performer of all time. Not only is he great at his craft, but he has brought tap into a newer modern light. I've been tapping for 13 years and I often run into people with stereotyped ideas of tap dancers. When people find out I tap their reactions often include references to vaudeville or Las Vegas. The art of tap dancing has been underappreciated since the days of Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly, but Savion's young ambition and innovation gives tap a new spark that keeps people like me motivated to dance. | by Lauren I've been dancing since I was three years old. My favorite type of dance is tap and people tell me I'm pretty good at it but i know i will never be as talented as Savion. One of my tap teachers actually got to tap with him once but I unfortunutely never got the chance to meet him. I get pretty nervous when I go to compete at national competitions but I always remember Savion and what an incredible dancer he is and it gives me courage to keep dancing my little heart out. So I just wanna thank Savion for being himself. And I'll be thinkin of him at my next competition. Comment on this... | ||||
