Brian Glover (2nd April 1934 - 24th July 1997) was a British actor.
He was born in Barnsley, Yorkshire and before turning to acting was a schoolmaster and also a professional wrestler going by the name of Leon Arras the Man From Paris. Glover's voice was well-known in the animated Tetley Tea TV adverts in Britain. He specialised in playing 'hard man' roles but also appeared in the classic sitcom Porridge. Glover's trademarks were a bald head and a strong Yorkshire accent. He was married to Tara Glover. He died in London
