Greta Scacchi was born in Milan and raised in the UK and then Australia, where she began her stage career in Perth before returning to England to perform for three years with the Old Vic Theatre. She made her screen debut in the early 80's and has since appeared in over 20 feature films in Hollywood and in Europe. Greta Scacchi recently appeared in Andre Konchalovsky's miniseries THE ODYSSEY, Philippe Rousselot's THE SERPENT'S KISS, Uli Edel's RASPUTIN and Doug McGrath's EMMA. Additional screen credits include Robert Altman's THE PLAYER, Mike Figgis's THE BROWNING VERSION, Alan J. Pakula's PRESUMED INNOCENT, Michael Radford's WHITE MISCHIEF, James Ivory's HEAT AND DUST and JEFFERSON IN PARIS and Diane Kurys' A MAN IN LOVE.
