Biography #2 (for Zookeeper)

Kevin James most recently starred with Vince Vaughn in The Dilemma for director Ron Howard. Last summer he starred in the feature film Grown Ups along with Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, David Spade, and Rob Schneider. Previously, he starred in, produced, and co-wrote the box office hit Paul Blart: Mall Cop and he starred opposite Adam Sandler in the 2007 hit comedy I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.

In 2007, James completed a nine-year run as the star and executive producer of the hit CBS/Sony television series, The King of Queens. The show, which continues to air daily in syndication across the country and around the world, garnered James an Emmy nomination in 2006 for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.

In 2001, James starred in Sweat the Small Stuff, a one-hour stand-up special for Comedy Central. In 2005, James and Ray Romano executive produced and starred in the HBO Sports Special Making the Cut: The Road to Pebble Beach. The documentary follows James and Romano as they attempt to make the cut at the annual Pebble Beach Pro-Am Golf Tournament. The special was nominated for a Sports Emmy.

James broke into the film world in 2005 in Columbia Pictures' Hitch, starring opposite Will Smith.

James is currently on location in Massachusetts shooting Here Comes the Boom.

Emmy Award nominee Kevin James recently completed a nine-year run as the star and executive producer on the hit CBS/Sony television series, The King of Queens. The show, which continues to air daily in syndication across the country and around the world, garnered James an Emmy nomination in 2006 for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.

James started his stand-up comedy career on the Long Island comedy scene. He made the transition to television after being discovered at the 1996 Montreal Comedy Festival, where he signed a network development deal to create his own show.

James starred in Sweat the Small Stuff, a one-hour comedy special for Comedy Central. Recently, James and Ray Romano executive produced and starred in the HBO sports special Ray Romano & Kevin James: Making the Cut-The Road to Pebble Beach. The documentary, which centered on attempting to make the cut at the annual Pebble Beach National Pro-Am Golf Tournament, was nominated for a Sports Emmy.

James broke into the film world with the Columbia Pictures hit feature film Hitch, starring opposite Will Smith. His voice was featured as the lead character, Otis, for Nickelodeon Films' animated feature Barnyard. He also provided voice work, as well as movement, for the role of Officer Landers in the Oscar-nominated motion-capture animated film Monster House for Sony.

Biography #4 (for Hitch)

Kevin James, who currently stars in the hit CBS television series The King of Queens, is a successful stand-up comedian who got his big break at the 1996 Montreal Comedy Festival and signed a development deal with NBC to create his own show. He was also cast in a recurring role on the CBS comedy series Everybody Loves Raymond, opposite his friend and fellow comic Ray Romano. It led to his own series The King of Queens, which is now in its seventh season on CBS.

James recently starred in a one-hour comedy special for Comedy Central called Sweat the Small Stuff and regularly makes guest appearances on the Late Show with David Letterman. James was born in Mineola, N.Y., and raised in Stony Brook, N.Y.

Upcoming film projects for James include Grilled with Ray Romano and the animated feature The Barnyard.

Biography #5

Kevin James got his start in the world of standup comedy. Shortly after attending Cortland (N.Y.) State University, he began going to clubs with his brother, standup comic Gary Valentine, and found that he had a real knack for comedy. After performing on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, he got his big break at the l996 Montreal Comedy Festival and was cast in a recurring role in the comedy series Everybody Loves Raymond, starring his friend Ray Romano, on CBS.

James was a host of The All-American Thanksgiving Parade in 1998 and a presenter at the 1999 People's Choice Awards and The 42nd Annual Grammy Awards, all on CBS. His additional television credits include hosting CBS's Funny Flubs and Screw-Ups specials, appearing on The Late Show with David Letterman and the NFL All-Star Comedy Blitz and guest starring in Cosby, Becker and Martial Law, all on CBS.

Kevin James was born in Mineola, New York, and raised in Stony Brook, New York. He now lives in Los Angeles. His birth date is April 26.
