I love to watch Van with Gene Kelly dancing to "Bonnie Jean" in Brigadoon, for a big guy he was very lightfooted, Long life and good luck Mr Johnson.

OMG ! Ninety years old? I hope Van is in god health for his years. I really never cared for him as an actor, however, many think he is great...pehaps he is/was.

Sorry! Van Jhonson a character actor? For over ten years he was one of the shining stars in the MGM firmament and, as a Leading Man (!!!!) starring opposite leading ladies, June Allyson, Esther Williams, Irene Dunne--to name a few. In comedies and musicals, he was adorable and thoroughly entertaining, but in his dramatic roles, of which there were many, he brought a level of caring, sincerity, and believability that could not be ignored. Hey people, if you're going to run a movie star website, make sure that you know who were the true movie stars of film! Van Johnson was, is and always will be a real Movie Star!!
