| by henry be good phillp s. hoffman plays the same guy in every role. sum a different but they are terrible like in magnolia & flawless. talk about over dramatic. he wasnt well known because he had done stupid movies not to mention boring performances. just because he made one good perfromance (to me a subpar and annoying one) it doesnt mean his one of the greatest of all time coz thats what people see him as today. just because he won an oscar doesnt mean his great. heaps people win oscars that dont deserve it. he didnt deserve it. hoffmans talent is limited. his worst perfromance was indeed magnolia. he over did his role so bad it was shocking. the strange thing is it was his best role lol. and thats really sad.
