Mr. Hinds WAS Mr. Rochester in the A&E "Jane Eyre." Albeit a brief version of the book, much of the dialogue was accurate or near to, and the ages seemed appropriate. The underlying heat and passion came through most noticeably via Hinds' acting. It is by-far my favorite version of the novel -- which I am re-reading now as I was inspired by watching the movie again and again.

Hinds IS excellent! BBC announced another Jane Eyre tv movie in the making. It stars Ruth Wilson (Jane) and Toby Stephens (Edward). Let's see yet another version of this shall we? LOL! Big smile
