| by peter g. i certainly like steve guttenberg as an actor, especially in such films as "cocoon". but the silliest miscasting in his entire career was when he was tabbed to play usa olympic hockey goalie jim craig in that dreadful rip-off of a tv movie called "miracle on ice". every thing about this movie was bogus, and it was obvious the film was hastily made on the cheap. for starters, as i mentioned the casting of the film was ludicrous, with 6 foot tall guttenberg playing 5'7" craig. the most hilariously miscast role belonged to karl malden, age 68 playing 43 year-old herb brooks.
