Eighteen year-old Jena Malone has appeared opposite Jodie Foster in Contact and Dangerous Lives of Alter Boys, Susan Sarandon and Julia Roberts in Stepmom, Kevin Costner in For the Love of the Game, and Kevin Kline in Life As a House. She was recently seen opposite Kevin Spacey in The United States of Leland and in the mini-series Hitler: the Rise of Evil with an all-star cast. Next up for Malone is Rebecca Miller's Rose and the Snake with Daniel Day Lewis and the comedy Saved with Mandy Moore and Macaulay Culkin.
Jena made her debut in Bastard Out of Carolina, earning her the first of three Young Artist Awards, along with nominations for Best Actress in a Miniseries by the Screen Actor's Guild, and Best Debut performance by the Independent Spirit Awards. She was nominated two years running for Best Supporting Actress at the Blockbuster Entertainment Awards. In 1998, she earned a Golden Globe nomination for her work in the television movie Hope.
