Poor James Whale. To Far ahead of his times for Hollywood where homosexuality was "taboo" in the 30's & 40's. Th one of the finestfilm directors of his time, he purposely "hammed" it up to just BELOW Melodrama(Who can for forget "The Bride of Frankenstein?" with that chillingly insane "Scream" of hers?)
Gods and monsters the movie about Whale was good but hardly did him justice. See you at the Movies!
