by John Martin Mr. Donner, It is my understanding that you have a live action Jonny Quest script in your hands. As a matter of fact, it has been there for many years. I am 51 year old and have been a JQ fan since it premeiered in 1964. I have done some reaserach and I can speak for the many JQ fans out three WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE THIS MOVIE MADE!!! What would it take for you to dust it off and green light this project? I can almost guarantee you it would be a financial success at the box office, and video sales. PLEASE consider this project. I have waited all my life for two of my favorite characters to be made into fantastic live actuon movies. One was Spiderman...and nothing has to said about that franchise! And the other, Jonny Quest of course. Please let my dream come true in my lifetime, and make a million baby boomers happy along the way. Comment on this...

by Curtis Everitt Mr. Donner, I am perhaps your greatest fan. Every one of my favorite movies was made by you. Your movies have influenced the way that I look at my independent filmmaking, and have also influenced the way that certain genre movies are made. I wrote a screenplay for Lethal Weapon 5 and am presently trying to mail it to you. I mailed it to your Warner Brothers office, but they informed me that you no longer reside there, and promptly sent it back. I would really like for you to read it, and decide whether or not it is worthy of the silver screen. Comment on this...

by Timothy W Dalbeck Dear Mr. Donner, I am quite a fan of your work and am happy to see your vision of Superman 2 finally take off; I loved the first film and to see it's true continuation is something of a dream of mine for many years. Loved the Lethal Weapon films (yes, even number 4) and, of course, The Omen. And 16 blocks was wonderful. Of course, the chances of the REAL Richard Donner reading this is pretty slim but if he is... I too was born in New York, NY (though I don't live there at the moment). I was born in Long Island Jewish and lived in Queens for a good chunk of childhood (Richmond Hill and then Rosedale). I also got my Mom and Older sister living in Bedstey. So when I heard that you were born in New York - I was like, get outta here... I can't believe it. Oh and last but not least - I am not one asking for a Goonies Sequel, it's was a great one shot film. Comment on this...

by CBauza A colleague of yours; someone who worked on LW4 with you as 2nd 2nd AD, is also an old friend of mine. I do apologize for contacting you regarding him but I'm at a loss for how to touch base again. If you or anyone in your office could contact me regarding any information about him, I'd be greatful. His name is John Elmore. I am a Spanish Instructor at Louisiana State University, the best way to contact me is at cbauza@lsu.edu. If there is any information you would like me to provide so as to proove I'm not a nut, I'll be happy to. As a matter of fact, while you were in Baton Rouge working on The Toy, I met you in a department store. My mother was an extra in the Garden Party scene (the "pie lady"), and later, we were invited to the interior of the house set. I'm sure you won't remember as you interact with a multitude of people daily, and I was about 13 at the time, quite forgettable. If something can be done regarding my request, I'll be happy to provide a phone number when asked. Thank you for the attention and I hope a response is possible. A fan of your work, Cora Bauzá Baton Rouge, LA Comment on this...

I already sign a petition on the net but we know that it ain't gonna put much presure on WB people. If you can anwser me about it would apriciate. Steph. Comment on this... |
