I had recently read that Ms. Kingston wasn't considered for a role in Desparate Housewives. I'm glad she wasn't given the role, because she is truly too ' big', for such a small part. The idea that the ideal housewife is anorexic, neurotic, oversexed, but so well dressed, is a nightmare in the daytime.
I have been a fan of Alex Kingston since I had seen her portray Moll Flanders, and I have always been sorry that I missed her role as the warrior queen Bodaica.
She is too talented to set her sights so low.

Alex Kingston resembles mightily Cheryl Campbell. Is she one and the same?
Campbell made several movies, including Greystoke, and then there is no listing of movies made by her after l986. If Kingston and Campbell are not the same, what happened to Campbell?
