Ruth Brown co-wrote the screenplay of her life story -- she was determined to tell the truth -- she led an astounding life and her legendary music career is detailed with such personal insight that it blows you away. I love her with all my heart and know that she IS the story of Rhythm & Blues. I spoke to her just a few days before she made that final trip to the hospital. She was tired. But she always said that. This time she meant it.
