| by George Henke Few know that Alan Alda got his start in theater at Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains, NY. His father, Robert Alda was an actor who helped form a very good theater group at the high school and who was able to bring talented friends from Broadway to help in many areas, such as dance, sets, costumes and makup. In addition to Alan Alda, Jon Voight was another member of this HS group who became very succesful in theater and film. Jon Voight's daughter is Angelina Jolie. Comment on this... | |||||||||

I'm glad I found this site as it is good to know that there are people in this world who appreciate his skills as much as I do. He plays a variety of roles in movies, which only adds to his versatility and greatness. I am an english major at uni. | by Lucy I used to watch MASH when I was very young with my mum (it's her favourite programme), though being English some of the references to the war and contemporary figures are even now a bit obscure.
