Vaughn Armstrong is one of the longest-serving actors in the Star Trek franchise, having appeared in every Trek series (save the original). He has played twelve different characters over the years - a record unmatched by any other actor in Trek (or, for that matter, any other franchise, sci-fi or otherwise).
Armstrong's first appearance in Trek was in an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation in which he played Korris, a renegade Klingon who stole a cargo ship and tried to use it to attack his fellow Klingons (who he believed had gone soft). His other characters are:
Klingons:
- Korath (Star Trek: Voyager episode Endgame, also appearing in Star Trek: The Experience
- Klaax (Star Trek: Enterprise episode Sleeping Dogs)
- Gul Danar (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode Past Prologue)
- Seskal (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episodes When it Rains... and The Dogs of War)
- Telek R'Mor (Star Trek: Voyager episode Eye of the Needle)
- Lansor/Two of Nine (Star Trek: Voyager episode Survival Instinct)
- Vidiian Captain (Star Trek: Voyager episode Fury)
- Admiral Forrest (recurring role on Star Trek: Enterprise)
- Captain Maximilian Forrest (Mirror Universe version of Admiral Forrest)
- Hirogen-Alpha (Star Trek: Voyager episode Flesh and Blood (part 1))
- Kreetassan Captain (Star Trek: Enterprise episodes Vox Sola and A Night in Sickbay)
Armstrong's talents also extend into the musical arena, and his Trek-related blues songs are popular at convention appearances. His blues band includes fellow Trek actors Richard Herd (Admiral Owen Paris), Steve Rankin (Colonel Green and other roles), and Casey Biggs (Damar).
