Howard Keel Forum

| by Wayne miller I have been a fan of Howard Keel for many years. He had the most magnificent voice of anyone that I have ever heard . I have acquired most of his CDs and have made a compilation video of every note he has sung on all of the MGM Musicals.I rejoiced when "Annie Get Your Gun" was finally released on video. That was the only video that I lacked in compiling a video of all of his vocal numbers. I was devastated at his passing and regret that I never had the opportunity to hear him sing "live". From hearing him on the "Larry King" show interviewed by Tom Snyder in in 1987, I even became a bigger fan. What a warm and gracious person he was ! Comment on this... |

| by Alan J. Terrano I had the pleasure to meet and work with Howard Keel just shortly after he started working on the Dallas series. I had just finished remodeling the home of one of the other Dallas cast members and Mr. Keel was interested in remodeling his home. I worked along side both Judy and Howard for more than a year. What a pleasure. Mr. Keel was a humble, gracious and warm-hearted person. I will never forget the day I spoke with Mr. Keel on the phone, just shortly after we finished his home. Mr. Keel just got out of the hospital after some type of heart surgery and I remember that Mr. Keel was weeping with humble thankfulness for his newly remodeled home. For many years, each Christmas, our family’s exchanged Christmas cards and photos. I am saddened to hear about the passing of Howard Keel. I am also humbled to have known him, he was an extraordinary person. May he rest in peace and his legacy last for many many years. Comment on this... |

| by Barbara Dunscombe Howard has been a great fan of mine for over 50 years. He is the most romantic, charming and debonair gentleman I have ever met. I have met him in person 3 times while on his tours of great britain. I love him and always will. He is so good looking and still is at the ripe old age of 87. His voice just turns me on and he gives me a deep emotion when I listen to him. I would love to have a signed photograph of Howard. I live and sleep the man he is my kind of fella, and his husky tones send me to pieces combined with his cheeky laugh, and wonderful smile, he just makes me feel it is good to be alive, and I will always admire him long after he has gone. | by Melody I was watching Kiss Me Kate after hearing Ann Miller passed away, and was reminded of Howard's outstanding voice, presense and the most wicked laugh on screen. Nice to find out we're both Illinoisians! Comment on this... |

| by Bonnie My 7 year-old daughter has a huge crush on Howard Keel (despite the fact that he's her grandmother's age now). Does anyone have any idea how to contact him. She really wants an autographed photo of him. Comment on this... | ||||
