Omid Djalili

Omid Djalili, an internationally known Iranian stand-up comedian, has seen success on stage, on film and on television. Performing his unique brand of comedy around the world in countries such as Australia, Austria, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, The Czech Republic and Slovakia, Djalili recently found a place with American audiences when he was a feature character in the hit TV series Whoopi.

Djalili has also been seen on the big screen in Notting Hill, The Mummy, The World Is Not Enough, Gladiator, Spy Game and Mean Machine, as well as in the made-for-television movie, Jason and the Argonauts alongside Dennis Hopper, Nastassja Kinski and David Bowie. Djalili's latest film, Modigliani premiered at Cannes this summer, and he is currently, filming a leading role in Disney's Casanova, directed by Lasse Hallström.
