Tim Dutton is an excellent actor.
I hope we see more of him on Canadian

down to earth (Fri Jan 19, 2007 1:28am ET)report post

I spent a few weeks in London last year and had the pleasure of meeting an old friend's husband and new baby. I was very surprised to see that Tim Dutton from my Ally Mcbeal episodes was her husband and their little William is as cute as can be. The best part of the trip was watching how sweet he was with his family and how down to earth he was when he gave me a ride into the city, fully equipping me with a map and directions to all the great places in London. It is hard not to be in awe of this great man. I wish him and his family all the best for the future.

Something doesn't quite add up about this story. If she was an old friend then the poster would hardly be surprised to find out who her husband was as she would already know.

I also think Tim Dutton is not only an excellent actor, much more a brilliant friend. I did not see him for years, but if you met him once you will never forget. I´m very happy to hear that he has Wife and family. If you ever meet him again tell him greetings from Hildegard

Did you know that Tim Dutton's full English name is Timothy Dutton-Cox and resided in the Shakepeare town of Charlecote.
Famous for throwing cricket balls through glass windows, notably My Mothers, and she has never forgotten him for that !
Tim if you ever read this I want you to know that we are very proud of what you have accomplished. You turn up on the screen sporadically and its a pleasure to watch you act.
If anyone knows where Tim is now please mail me back.

Just wanted to say that I am an enormous admirer of Tim's work and wish there was more information available on him. At present I am watching the DVD of Melissa in which Tim starred with Jennifer Ehle and I see that Tim has a new movie out - Bye Bye Harry - although I don't know the release date for it yet (I am in the UK).

If you have any more 'Tim' stories I would love to hear them. I know that Tim is a very keen and gifted cricketer so I was greatly amused to read about your mother's windows! I am assuming this was when he was quite a young boy - let's hope so anyway!
