| by ddd i absolutly love the shield. best cop drama ever. its so different then all the rest. his performance is hard hitting and in your face. i love it. my favourite character in the show is shane though. sorry mick, i still love his character heaps but i cant resist a hillbilly cop who makes tons of mistakes in the series making the series on the edge. micks transformation from tony scali (the commish) to vic mackey is unbelievable. you can hardly tell reconise him if you look at the two shows back to back. its good to see that tv has some really raw actors like mick since all the others have moved on to cinema. nothing but sellouts they are. | by kasara my daughter is in love with this man my tivo box is full of his the shield episodes she has his name everywhere on the cd box on the cabinets on her door all she talks about is him she even wanted to put a picture of him on her daughters bedroom door but i drew the line therei really wish that she could met him just to see that he is human just like us and that there is nothing that speacial about him Comment on this... |

| by steve provost Chiklis gets a secret tail to obtain evidence which may put him away. The shadow officer, who is the brother of the Afro-American ] Captain, is a Sgt. Swat member, and follows Chiklis around town. The shadow watches Chiklis from roof tops, at his home, at the office, across the street from the office, even in the toilet. At one point, the shadow catches Chiklis beating someone up in an ally. The shadow repels head first down a building, jumps on the Chiklis character, and does him in. | by gladys fernandez I first saw Micheal in "The Commish" I thought that was a great show and i loved him in it. Later i saw him in "Daddio" and thought it was a cute show, but now,,,he just exploded. In The Shield he is playing the roll he was meant to play. His eyes always tells the story, they portray the compation and strength behind his character. In order to see it you must posess intelligence and artistry. Mikcheal will make a crossover to the big screen, it's just a matter of time. Comment on this... |

| by Jason I had saw Michael chiklis as the commish, and he was ok in that show. BUT The Sheild..I cannot say enough great positive things about that show. He plays such a great role in that show, his acting is so good you feel everything he feels. i have been hooked on that show since the first episode. what can i say......Vic Mackey is THE toughest TV cop out there. congratulations to Michael Chiklis for his new found success Comment on this... |

| by Elizabeth M. I haven't been compelled to comment on an actor at an awards show before, but... watching this man on the Golden Globes last night turned my stomach. His glassy eyes and egotistical demeanor gave away his lack of gratitude and humility. He appears to be a man of hidden regret and completely lacks class/integrity. Acting as someone else he may fool the masses, but as himself he fools no one. Hope he thoroughly enjoys his 15 minutes. Comment on this... | ||||

| by Liz Rafferty I never heard of him before The Shield, but now I am hooked on him! He is so sexy and so dynamic, and he's a heck of a great actor, too. I didn't watch the first season of The Shield, but I'm now staying up late every night this week to see the marathon, and I can't wait for the season premiere. He's the main reason I watch the show, though I also watch for the direction and writing. I am in love with the character, but I'd still like to see the other things he has done, like Curly and John Belushi, or The Commish. I'm crazy for Vic Mackey, and crazy for Michael Chiklis!
