A Charming actor I like most (Fri Nov 3, 2006 11:26pm ET)report post

Brian Cox’s great!! I’ve never seen an actor who has such an attractive appearance and musical-hearing voice perfectly matching together. When I first noticed him on the movie X2, I was completely conquered by his charisma.

I have been searching for a poster of "Uncle Argyle" from Braveheart when he rides up on the horse just after the memorial for William's father. Anyone know where I can find one?

I don't think you'll ever find a poster of "uncle Argyle" or anyone else for that matter, except for Mel Gibson's. Unfortunately, the studios bet on the big stars to get their money back and that, of course, doesn't meanthe better actors. In Hollywood terms a star is a good-looking man (or woman), preferably young ( or at least youthful-looking), blond or blue-eyed is also a factor. That's just too bad for us who really know how to appreciate talent or a fiery personality!
Brendan Gleeson who plays Wallace's childhood friend in "Braveheart" and the actor who played his dad (awesome-looking man), were also both in TROY, the one playing Menelaus and the other the old general of the Trojans. So, they've all played together before.

Damn Good Agamamnon (Tue Jun 1, 2004 7:58am ET)report post

Well, I'm surprised to see there are no comments posted for such an awesome actor who's been around...well,forever! He's a terrific actor, mostly known for his portrayal of a long string of baddies(that's typecasting for you)but I think it's due to the fact that he has such a strong and fiery personality that comes across so easily on the screen; I also believe he has many good acting years ahead of him.By the way, he was a damn good Agamemnon!
