Giancarlo Esposito
Giancarlo Esposito has over 40 film credits, an equally impressive list of television credits and a well-respected and award-winning stage background. A veteran of Spike Lee films. Esposito appeared in the director's Do the Right Thing, School Daze, Mo' Better Blues and Malcolm X.
His feature credits also include Twilight, Nothing to Lose, Waiting to Erhale, The Usual Suspects and Fresh. Esposito produced and also starred in The Keeper, which debuted to rave reviews at the 1996 Sundance Film Festival.
He has guest starred on NYPD Blue, Law & Order and Touched By An Angel, and had lead roles in the made-for-television movies Simple Justice and Five Desperate Hours. Espositio has also starred in the television series Bakersfield P.D., The Street and Homicide: Life On the Street." Currently, he is portraying Cassius Clay Sr. in Michael Mann's feature film Ali. and will next be seen in Pinero, starring Benjamin Bratt. In addition, Esposito teaches at the Atlantic Theatre Company, where he is an active member.
