Fernanda Tavares
Fernanda Tavares (born on September 22, 1980 in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil) is a Brazilian supermodel.
She won the Elite Look of the Year contest at 13 and then moved to Sao Paulo to pursue a modelling career. She has appeared in a number of popular magazines, including Marie Claire, Elle, Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Allure, and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
Tavares also works as a commercial advertising model. She signed a deal with perfume company Guerlain, for US$1.3 million, and reguarly models for underwear manufacturer Victoria's Secret and appeared in the famous Victoria's Secret 2000 fashion show in Cannes. She has also appeared in the anti-fur advertisements for pressure group PETA.
