Peter Boyle has been gracing us with his presence in both film and television for over 40 years. Currently, Boyle is probably best known as Frank Barone, Ray Romano's father on the Emmy Award winning series Everybody Loves Raymond, for which Boyle was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor five years in a row.

Recent film roles include The Santa Clause 2 with Tim Allen, The Adventures of Pluto Nash starring Eddie Murphy, Monster's Ball with Academy Award winners Halle Berry and Billy Bob Thornton, Doctor Dolittle, While You Were Sleeping, Malcolm X and Honeymoon in Vegas.

Boyle first became well known as the hardhat bigot in the sleeper hit Joe. He is also known for his role as Wizard in Martin Scorsese's Taxi Driver with Robert De Niro, amongst other classics such as Hunter S. Thompson's Where the Buffalo Roam, Young Frankenstein and Wim Wenders' Hammett.

Boyle has also made several notable guest appearances on television including NYPD Blue, The Single Guy and The X-Files, for which Boyle won an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor.
