Noah Emmerich
Noah Emmerich is known as an actor's actor, his realism and understated quality have led to collaborations with some of today's top directors. His breakout role was in
Ted Demme's cult hit, Beautiful Girls, with
Natalie Portman and
Uma Thurman. Emmerich's extensive filmography includes starring roles in
Todd Field's Little Children with
Kate Winslet;
Gavin O'Connor's Miracle and Pride and Glory with
Edward Norton and
Colin Farrell;
Martin Campbell's Beyond Borders with
Angelina Jolie;
James Mangold's Cop Land;
John Woo's Windtalkers and
Peter Weir's The Truman Show opposite
Jim Carrey in which he plays his best friend. Upcoming films include
Mark Ruffalo's Sympathy for Delicious (Sundance 2010) with
Laura Linney and
Orlando Bloom; and
David Schwimmer's Trust (Toronto 2010) opposite
Clive Owen and
Catherine Keener.
No stranger to television, Emmerich has also worked consistently on some of the most acclaimed series over the years. He had a recurring role this season on USA's hit show White Collar and just completed shooting an arc on Frank Darabont's much-anticipated AMC series, The Walking Dead. Other credits include The West Wing, NYPD Blue, Law & Order: SVU and Monk. With a background in theater, Emmerich most recently starred in Stephen Belber's off-Broadway production of Fault Lines, directed by David Schwimmer, and The Kennedy Center's production of A Streetcar Named Desire with Patricia Clarkson and Amy Ryan.
