| by kirk wright Sheryl faced a tricky evening in Birmingham- England were playing Portugal in the Euro 2004 querter final and many people had obviously chosen that alternative.However.after a slightly vervous beginning,she proved what a superb professional artiste she is with a show full of variety,displaying her immense vocal range,and entertaining the audience with her natural ambience.Sheryl commented often on how grateful she was to the fans who turned out and she meant it!Respect to her and the organisers for acknowledging the big football match and even showing flashes from Portugal on the large screens behind her! A difficult evening for her but she pulled it off,and how! Comment on this... |

Okay, so here it is... just recently (like within the past 3 months) I ran into this talented indie artist in the streets of LA, her name is Jamie Green. Any1 heard of her? It's been awhile since I encountered her stuff, I bought an album, & can't get it out of my CD player. I think she's going to be the next big thing. & for the Sheryl obsessed, like myself, her songs "Taximan" or "Soul Connected" remind me of something the sun soaking diva would write.
