by Rob Yeske Bruce Dern was best in 'Silent Running'. I had always wondered as a youth (I am 40+ now) if Bruce could play a non-pychopath. Yep. He sure can...as he proved in this unique 70's scifi flick when I first saw it on video in the early 80's.. I recently bought the DVD, and am now on a mission to find some other more humane Bruce Dern titles. This guy is intense and expansive in his talent. Comment on this...

by GREG COLN Bruce Dern is one of the finest actors of our time. Nobody ever plyed a villain with the realism that he did. His role in "The Cowboys" was flawless, he was absolutely terrifying. I also liked him in "The Burbs". "Middle Age Crazy is a real/reel classic. I'd love to just hang out with him Comment on this...

by Gael Shellenberger If anyone has any doubt, or is unaware of the incredible acting range of Bruce Dern, they need go no farther than an Alfred Hitchcock hour long episode called, "A lonely Place". Actors today who attempt to play psychopaths would learn how it's done by watching Bruce in this episode. Comment on this...
