I saw Jeffrey DeMunn in Modigliani, K2 on Broadway, Citizen X, the Majestic, Comedians on Broadway and many other movies, and he is one of my favorite actors. I think he is exceptionally talented, convincing and professional. He never overacts and brings an intelligence and sensitivity to every role. All his performances are memorable, but his depictions of "Modigliani,"
the climber in "K2," and the townsman recently in "The Majestic" and the blood-curdling "Citizen X" place him as one of the most memorable performers I have ever seen. He "owns" every role he plays, and is far more talented than most of the other celebrated character actors of our time. He is currently in "Our Town" and although I do not like the play at all, I'll probably spend the $50 to see him because he got raves.
