| by Dolores Sierra I love William Daniels! He's one of my favorite character actors. I remember him in Captain Nice, but loved him most in "1776". I liked the inside references used in "Boy Meets World" to previous Daniels parts..in one episode he says something about being a teacher, not a heart surgeon..which he was in St. Elsewhere. I think one of Tv's mos emotional moments came in the St. Elsewhere episode when Dr. Craig performs his son's autopsy, and talks all through it about when Stephen was a little boy. He talks about reading Green Eggs and Ham to him...I still can't read that book to a kid without crying! He's a treasure..and actually, if I had to pick anyone to sit down and have dinner with to discuss theater, movies or just life it would be Daniels and his wife Bonnie Bartlett!
