| by Alexander Barnett My brother, Robert Barnete, a famous painter of Spanish themes, and called the Goya of the 20th century, was a very close friend of Broderick Craword during the 1960s in Spain and sold him a number of paintings. Robert, an astute evaluator of character, told me that Crawford was an exceedingly warm, charming, gentle, generous, funny, and totally delightful human being. How rare. It,s no stigma either way but for the record he was not gay.

| by Aurora Gomez-Sibley I was a very close friend for man years of Robert Barnete. I would like to find the address of his brother Alexander, so that I can ask him for some further information; I have just heard that Robert died last year. The only portrait he painted was mine, and I have it here in Paris.

| by Andreas Menzies This message is for Alexander Barnett, would you mind giving me your contact details so we can speak about Robert? My father and I were friends of Robert here in London. I also ran a WEB site for him to promote his art. We're very sad about his passing.
I would very much like to have contact with you.
kind regards Andreas Menzies
