Charles Shaughnessy never ceases to amaze me, so there fore I would like to up-date his incredible career.
During July 2003 he starred in Pittsburgh on stage playing the familiar and popular character Henry Higgins. From that he was picked to star on Broadway from September 2003 until January 18th, 2004, in the very popular stage production of "Urinetown", where he was a sensation.
He is continuing with his incredible career, as he is now in Vancouver, Canada shooting to appear in "TV Stargate SG-1. Then he goes back to Los Angeles to start shooting on May 19th, a full-length feature entitled
"Kids In America"., which should be shown on the big screen.
People are always sending responses to Charles wanting to know what he is doing next, now we finally receieved the answer. Thank goodness for that.

A Real Life Prince Charming (Thu Jun 19, 2003 1:36pm ET)report post

Charles Shaughnessy is a magnificent,
incredible actor, has a dynamic personality, a great sense of humor, and he is very romantic by nature. Always there to help others. People only have marvelous things to say about him. Whether it be his fans, people that know him on a personal basis, or his co-workers.
He is very down to earth, and no way does he want to talk about his popularity or his incredible good looks. When asked about his fame he avoids the question and answers it in a round about way.
His atitude is very down to earth. A friend of mine who knew him at Central School of Speach and Drama told me that he is one of the very few intelligent and charming people that she has ever known.
The popularity that Charles had on "Days of our Lives" was outstanding. He played the role of Shane Donovan for 8 years. Like a lot of his other fans, I would never forget his incredible dramitic acting, the romance and the delightful comedy scenes that he shared with Kimberly-Patsy Pease. They won awards for their dynamic efforts, and it is highly unlikely that he will ever be forgotten in that magnificent character that he portrayed for so many years, and this was proven when he returned to Days for a short time in 2002, which has thousands and thousands responding to his acting efforts.
The one type of character Charles likes to play is comedy, and this is evident as he portrayed Maxwell Sheffield for 6 years in the highly popular comedy "The Nanny". He did such a great job in that, and I like it very much, but Shane still rates the highest with me.
People have said that his voice would melt butter, another compliment to add for this superb English-London born actor to add to this never ending list.
He has an illustrious background another point that separates him from others in general.
This may sound biased, but I have followed his career since Christmas 1985 and everyone that has come in contact with him personally or otherwise says the same thing. His striking good looks and his unasuming manner, appeals to all his fans.
