| by Kari This upcoming George flick is supposed to awesome!! It is to be set in the post-WWII time era... A journalist is sent back to Berlin to cover life after the war... This is a fairly unique spin.. for we mostly see World War II movies .. containing the actual war.. but this movie seems like it is going to dig deeper than that with all the twists and turns and the secrets the characters keep... It is based on the best-selling novel by Joseph Kanon.. and should adapt to screen very well.. I am really looking forward to it.. Have you all heard anything about this film?? Comment on this... |

| by CAIRO George looks great for his age, considering he did have a health problem not that long ago and had to have it fixed. Surgery of any kind does cause an impact on your body. The other thing is he has a right to state how he feels about politics like all of us do. That is part of being an American, Freedom of Speech belongs to all Americans. Do not like what one says, turn on your deaf ear on, especially when it comes to politics and religion. You all also know that IQ's do go down with age and also how many over 30 years old remember everything they learned in school???? Comment on this... |

| by Senelebe George Clooney has embarked on his latest role, as The Star who Went to Darfur, by modestly saying he felt uncomfortable about giving speeches on the political stage - or telling "people what they should or should not do". For a person that claims they're uncomfortable at playing politiks, Mr. Clooney sure does go out of his way to insert himself into the limelight as often as possible. Perhaps while he is busy investing so much of his time and passion into his 'humanitarian' crusade, he has missed the reality that is unfolding in the world today. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,3-2080356,00.html The Africans have voted against UN support much to the dismay of our President, yet Mr. Clooney paints a picture that would lay the blame squarely upon our leader's shoulders. We face the largest crisis since the Bay of Pigs today. Iran, Russia and China are leading us down a road that could could very well end in the largest war this planet has ever known. Where is your politikal stand on that Mr. Clooney? Instead of supporting our country and defending our actions in Iraq you blast our country with your propaganda and pro-communism rhetoric. There is a lesson to be learned here readers of this board. Some people place themselves above the rest of us. They use their position as a prybar into areas they have no knowledge of. Mr. Clooney uses his recognition as a platform to spread his own brand of propaganda. His message is doused in vitriol, hate, and self-loathing. He acts to undermine our leadership, our country, and our very belief system. To you Mr. Clooney, I'd suggest staying in areas of expertise that you are familiar with. Left wing extremism has already proved a fatal disease to many political careers today. Sudan is not our issue, and lets be honest, it's not really yours either. Comment on this... | |||||||||
