by Denise George did a good job showing sensitivity as his character Michael Clayton to the issues of bi-polar individuals. I am a member of NAMI-the National Association for Mental Illness and I applaud his portrayl in this film. Thank you, George! Comment on this...

by Cairo Another birthday for George has passed and hopefully it was all he expected or at least, hopefully enjoyed it. Let's see is it 55 now??? Just kidding!!!! From someone who is in the same age brackett, I would say (some of you fans might agree) that George still looks damn good and does not look like he is in his 40's. Maybe getting there but not half way through it... To TM, I gather you like attention, don't you? Just guessing..... Comment on this...

by Cairo After watching the Julia and George interview, all I could think of is all the answers that I would have said to that one too many times asked question of is there someone etc., etc.. My answers would have been funny and to keep everyone guessing. But George did well too, even though it was the same answer almost everytime, mix it up next time, will ya? The woes of being a lord or lady in a glittered city with a great job and owning a glass house or/and castle is very little privacy, even though us mere servants have that problem sometimes. On top of that, it will also make his hunt for a life mate that much harder if that is what George wants. We all should wish anyone in that lifestyle bracket plenty of luck and hope them the best. Let us all face facts, many of us lowly servants, not all but most, only see what is in front of them instead of the person inside and/or dollar signs when it comes to someone in a different bracket than themselves. I think that I like being unnoticed and a servant even though a bit more better off in the finacial end would make life easier! LOL! I still will take my life over the "EMERALD CITY" anytime! GOOD HUNTING GEORGE!!!! If you already do have a mark than great job in keeping it quiet, keep it up and enjoy the time together before you are caught! Comment on this...

| by Cairo So the manatee club wants recognition, that is fine but it does work both ways, meaning that the "Polar Bear " club do get to have a 5 minute fame slot, just like anyone else. It is a free country in more ways than one (supposedly). There is such a thing as you can pass over the subject or article that you can not digest. There is no law stating that you have to review everything you see in the news or papers. By the way, I believe that George would not share your feelings to the point that you do, as he is a bit more humble about "regular people" and life in general...... Comment on this... | ||||

by Tom Modern Stay Out The Water!; A Scolding for the Unsightly, Attention-Starved Losers; Global Warming Can't Come Soon Enough! From the desk of Tom Modern, President of the Manatee Club tom_modern @ hotmail. com George Clooney. We herby invite you to join our club babe. I'm sure you hate these c-suckers as much as we do. First off, a note to the media: Next winter could you please refrain from covering anything to do with the Annual Polar Bears Clubs or their offshoot groups who feel the need to enter the freezing ocean waters every year in mid-winter? I, for one---and I know I speak for many others---AM SICK OF IT. The sight of some chubby, out-of-shape, attention starved LOSERS gallivanting around on some beach in the cold is NOT something anyone wants to see. Especially in their morning papers, where most of us decent people have just had breakfast for crying out loud, and you heap that garbage on them? I almost PUKED. Around Superbowl time, the REAL athletes are plying their trade and the NFL title games are all on the line, and then these oafs hobble out of their hovels (yet again) to ruin it. I just hope you members of the media held your noses down at Coney this year---or at least didn’t get downwind of them. Who knows if that was the first bath this year? And this year they even had a DEATH for Heavens sake. Yikes! My only question is how have MORE deaths been avoided for so long? And now they’ve "closed the membership rolls," as if it were the US Army or something. This particular club even has a "President." You mean, such a peripheral, unimportant, nonsensical, useless group has a President? What, in case they need to invade Antarctica? or declare war on the Upper-Canadian Eskimos? Global warming can't come soon enough. Plus, it's disrespectful to Polar Bears. Polar Bears call these morons one thing---LUNCH. And so, I hereby found the Mantee Club. We will meet every summer at a beach of our choosing and enter the warm, balmy waters of the Atlantic and BRAVE the conditions all for the media and all to come and see. We'll have BETTER bodies and the media better DAMN WELL give us EXPOSURE for our event---and every year thereafter---or there will be HELL TO PAY. Isn't there something on the books about Equal Time and Fairness Doctrines being discussed in Congress? Well, if I ever saw a need for them……. Comment on this...

by Cairo I just caught the Cinematheque (ROAST) Tribute to George and I could not stop laughing. I guess it is true about if you can not beat them, join them but do it one better. The ending was perfect, it shows that he is on his game when it comes to watching out for pranksters, jokers and court jesters. You have to always stay one step ahead of the rest of them when you are one yourself! Congractulations to George, he has actually been across the board in his line of work and then some, he deserves the award. The Good German is going to be great too from what I have caught in clips, a little bit of everything for everyone. Comment on this...
