| by Florence Biefra I will also boycott any film that Danny Glover is in, but I will take it one step further and boycott any movie made by any studio that gives him a job. I will boycott any product I see him selling. I am sick of his statements and politics. I can only hope that he is visiting Venezuala when we destroy it. Comment on this... |

| by Bill Arnold If you really believe all that was in your letter, please get a ticket to "parts unknown". Policies that led us into conflict in the Middle East. Where were you on 9-11? You would think 911 never happened. The mean, aggresive Americans are trying to push Democracy aroundthe globe. I could think of things much worse that we could be pushing. In thirty to fifty years, as long as the Liberal Left does not get it's way, we will be able to look back at this time in history as time of great change; preading freedom around the world. There will always be terrorists, but with governments in place, that think personal freedom is as important as we do, their impact will be minimal, because they will not have the funding and cover that they now enjoy. I think the future is very bright, especially if you "morose Mandy's" leave for parts unknown...... Comment on this... |

| by Nancy Bostick-Ebbert Mr. Glover has my deep admiration for the integrity and courage he has shown in expressing concern about the policies which have led us into conflict in the mid-east. In a land which touts its' freedom, it is becoming increasingly obvious that the only people with the freedom to speak out are those who are lock-step with corporate America and the policticians which serve it. After traveling to Portugal this spring and listening to the common people there, we found a surprising parallel with many here: their government supported the push for war while the people were opposed. I was so offended by MCI's actions that I cancelled our account with them and switched to Working Assets---a small thing perhaps, but I let them know, both financially, and through correspondence that I was unwilling to do business with a corporation with so little integrity and one that takes economic hostages. Their decision to dismiss Mr. Glover as their spokeman sent a message not just to him but to all MCI employees and potential employees:"you are not free to express opinions without our approval. " Talk about un-American! Never before has there has been a time that I have felt so discouraged about the future of this nation---our economy is in tatters, tax cuts are closing the doors on hundreds of veterans facilities, we are depised by many nations who were our best allies, laws safeguarding our air, water, forests, and wild animals and places are being systematically destroyed and human rights are in serious jeapordy. Having an individual like Mr. Glover make thoughtful and impassioned statements about our responsibility to our nation and the world eases some of the pain that this administration has inflicted on those of us who care. It is no wonder that so many are contemplating a move to parts unknown... Comment on this... | ||||

| by John Ross I applaud Mr. Glover's expressions of dismay at the present administration's lack of respect for the world, the environment and with itself. In our unfortunate unimedia information system those who have a pulpit have a responsibility to nourish rational awareness. Keep up the good work Danny! | by Al I'm surprised someone who cares so little about anything other than making a buck would make liberal political statements. He was in a movie which glorified the "Buffalo Soldiers" which made killing Indians sport. Indians didn't enslave blacks, whites did but when given guns what did some black people do? Kill Indians for the white master. And he glorified this act of obsequious cowardice. We were not the enemy, the whites were. We were not animals for soldiers to shoot for sport. You should be ashamed of yourself. Comment on this... | ||||

| by Heather Danny Glover called our president a racist what a joke. I think the one who is a racist is Danny Glover. How could he say that he supports Castro. Castro is a mad man. So many cubans risk their lives to get out of Cuba wouldn't that tell you something? He also said it was Americas fault for September 11th. I say if Danny Glover doesn't like this country lets send to Cuba so he can spend his days with his man. Comment on this... |
