i've enjoyed davids' performances not only as niles, but on
crossing delancy. that is where i first seen him, and i thought that he was the most desirable human being as far as some one of which a person would most comfortable with. david looks to be a very compassionate person, and someone that you could approach to get an autogaph, without him giving you a dirty look. i have enjoyed fraser, over and over again.. some of the episodes are completely crazy, and there are days where we can all use crazy.
keep up your great acting, and i hope that he dosn't stop acting. love to watch him.

Unforgettably adorable. David/Niles.. (Fri May 14, 2004 12:15pm ET)report post

Although I've had crushes on many much more macho movie and TV actors - there's something so captivatingly cute about "Niles' that it's hard to describe. Despite being on the short, scrawny, totally 'non-buff' side, with a rapidly receding hairline and a rather pasty-non athletic looking complexion - if asked to name the actor/character that I find most appealing on TV - I invariably say 'Niles" aka the multi talented David Hyde Pierce. There's just something so huggably cute about him - maybe it's a sort of vulnerability, and the feeling that there really is a real tiger lurking behind the stuffily, laid-back exterior. I think his character used to be at his best in the days when he was doing his best to hide his feelings for Daphne. You somehow always wanted him to confess his true feelings and find them returned and I think the episode where he and Daphne 'pretend' to be a couple perform that unforgetable dance together is absolutely priceless. Surely one of TV's most memorably classic moments. Now that the show is, alas, finished for good - I sincerely hope we will see David emerge in some other equally memorable role. With so many spinoffs from various series, I really wish that we could have seen more of Niles - who was - in himself 'a memorable classic' in so many ways. Some actors complain that they seem to be forever 'stuck with or associated with' a certain actor, but David could definitely do a lot worse than to forever associated with Niles - because both were/are adorable, and I will miss seeing them both - and the show, very much.
