George Brent IS old Hollywood: a gentleman at all times, the epitome of male glamour, beauty, and charm. Not wooden, rather distinguished, with an enchanting manner of irrepressible humor just below the polished surface. I just watched "The Rains Came" again; he is such a pleasure to watch with Myrna Loy, and quite outshines Tyrone Power. I wonder if there has been published a biography of his life.
