| by Sipowicz Fan Now that Blue is over, I'd love to see him on CSI:Miami with Caruso. They were great together when that show first started. I don't think they get along so it will probably never happen. Comment on this... |

| by Lorraine I am on a quest to locate a performance management training video that featured Dennis Franz before he was actually famous. I don't have a year or even a company who made this video, but would love any help in trying to locate such an item. Please feel free to email any info. Thanks in advance for your expertise! | by Joan I think he is a terrific actor - so so macho. But sometimes, I think he is a bit too gruff on NYPD Blue. For instance, when he says he is going "to take a dump" or "take a piss". But I guess his portrayal of Andy Sipowisz is what makes him such a great actor. Comment on this... |

| by tim Dennis Franz is obviously the reason for the success of "NYPD Blue", if for no other reason, because he has stayed the course. Other 'leading men' have come and gone, but he is the one consistent, and the main reason I watch the show. His intensity is unparalleled on the small screen. I particularly loved his performance in the episode I've come to label "Andy's Jackpot", where he shot up the car with the black kids in it, then was accused of firing for 'racially motivated' reasons. His interview with the division shrink was priceless. Andy: "I've had about enough. I'm outta here!" Shrink: "But, detective, we have forty-two minutes left in our session." Andy: "Oh, yeah. Well, stick 'em in your a**!" Shrink: "This won't look good on my report." Andy: "STICK YOUR REPORT IN YOUR A**!" Comment on this... | ||||
